I am 100% on board with this kind of street breakfast, even without being able to immediately recognize most of the ingredients seen in this video. I'm not even bothered by the shriveled tubesteaks this particular chef employs as the dish's centerpiece. What does bother me is how the final product is so carelessly tossed into a plastic bag without any paper, as if it were a circular from the local K-Mart. Put another way, I'd be very interested in sampling the Beijing Pancake for breakfast on any given morning, but not so excited by the prospect of barehandedly retrieving it from that greasy bag.
Does anyone know a place in NYC that serves these?
